Don Tomas
cigars were made in Danli, Honduras, back in the days before the cigar boom of the 1990s, with tobaccos acquired from nearby Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco farms. These originals had all the well-known characteristics of a hand-rolled Honduran cigar: consistently rich flavors with a smoothness that made them a pleasure to smoke.
During the boom, however, these tobaccos became scarce and, because of the shortage, also became more expensive. So the makers of Don Tomas turned to alternate sources, like Indonesia, Columbia and Mexico where the supply of tobacco was more abundant, if not slightly less quality, and less costly. Until today, Don Tomas has continued to use these less than optimum tobaccos for their Natural and Maduro blends.
Today, under the guidance of Villazons renowned cigar master, Estelo Padron, the Don Tomas Clasico returns to its classic Honduran roots with new blends that once again use the rich, full-flavored Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos that made the original Dom Tomas one of the best Honduran cigars in the world.

Not very good taste, but the aroma was "ok". I put it down half way through.
